As one of America’s largest broadband internet providers, the company has several divisions that service different needs in society. This division is Spectrum Business. What we set out to do was show off successful small business owners who use Spectrum for their internet connectivity needs.

SMALL BUSINESS WEEK
For Small Business Week, Spectrum wanted to notify other small business owners or their employees that Spectrum Business is a reliable provider of internet services. I also wanted to show a more modern treatment when it came to their social posts.
APPROACH - Concept 1
Gone are the days of walking into work with a white shirt and blue tie; small business owners are everyday people. So it was important to me to keep the design modern and relatable to people of this generation.
It was good to use modern font treatment. Spectrum has its own font called Spectrum Sans, but I wanted to use the lightweight font so the headlines looked more modern. While the subhead text was set to regular for legibility.
I wanted to incorporate the signature design element into the photos, so it looks like the Spectrum Business brand is spotlighting these business owners.

APPROACH - Concept 2
For this second concept, we were tasked to create posts that could be used in a carousel. So I decided to utilize the outline again, but as a lead-in to the following slide, which would have a quote from the business owner featured.

RESULTS
The Spectrum Business team enjoyed the treatment from the first concept. It was simple and clean, and yet new. They thought it was a great treatment, so they decided to use it for their overall soft rebrand.
This was an awareness campaign that generated some engagement from people on the internet, and it's good to know that I contributed to the company’s brand evolution.
